Are you taking apart a laptop keyboard or a desktop keyboard? If it is a laptop keyboard, you might take a look at the following links: http://www.takeitapart.net/archives/compaq-presario-r3000/ http://www.insidemylaptop.com/disassemble-compaq-presario-f700-notebook/ Desktop keyboards are far more servicable than laptop keyboards, but that does not mean laptop keyboards cannot be taken apart--it just requires extra care. Jewelers screwdrivers are often helpful for loosening the key supports on laptop keyboards; place them under a key and pop the horizontal bars from the sockets carefully. |

why do you want to do this??? if you just want to take it apart, get some screwdrivers, but I have a feeling you want to fix it as well... if so, what is the problem? |
